John Harwood lets one slip on MSNBC and tells the truth

September 9th, 2009 · 2 Comments · Barack Obama, Health Care, Politics

Let’s Face It, In a Country of Three Hundred Million People, There are a Lot of Stupid People (Republican Wing Nuts) out there

John Harwood lets one slip on MSNBC and tells the truth about these people fear mongering over the President speaking to school children next week.

Novotny: John, what about this controversy over opposition to Obama’s speech to school children?

Harwood: I’ve got to tell you Monica, I’ve been watching politics for a long time and this is, this one is really over the top. What it shows you is there are a lot of cynical people who try to fan controversy and let’s face it, in a country of three hundred million people there are a lot of stupid people too, because if you believe that’s it’s somehow unhealthy for kids for the President to say work hard and stay in school, you’re stupid.

Novotny: Ouch.

Harwood: In fact, I’m worried for some of those kids, I’m worried for some of those kids of those parents who are upset. I’m not sure they’re smart enough to raise those kids.

Funny how anyone believes differently than you is “stupid”. Maybe you like having people like Van Jones in the Obama cabinet. Now, that’s really stupid.

Thanks Charles for stopping by and leaving a comment.
This post/video is in regards to the hysteria over Obama’s speech to the nations school children. This hysteria is coming from the same “stupid” people that sit around and watch Rush, Hannity, Beck et al and drink their kool aid as gospel. Since these people, apparently, don’t have the brains to fact check anything they are stupid.

As for Van Jones… He is well qualified for the position he was given. He never said anything worse than the BS a number of current Republican Senators like Grassley, DeMint, Inhofe etc. have spewed out. As for him calling Republicans “Assholes”? I am a registered Republican in Republican Orange County and constantly receive mail and email from the RNC, the local party and Dana Rohrabacher. Most of it BS drivel, misleading information and outright lies. I can see where he thinks republicans are Assholes… they are.
