So lavish with other people’s sacrifices, so reckless in pouring the national treasure into the sandy pit of Iraq, Mr. Bush remains as cheap as ever when it comes to helping people at home.

truly Bush has bungled big in Iraq. But how much is it his own doing….and how much of the blame should be shared by the congress and the voting public….maybe it is what the will of the people is and you are really the minority
75% of the American people want to get the fuck out of Iraq but the Bush Administration does not care what the American people think. I think Cheney’s response, when asked about the overwhelming majority of Americans wanting out of Iraq, sums it up. His answer… “So?”
It seems strange to hope for common sense from a President that has failed for the previous eight years, but we still do expect him to do the right thing. Each new piece of idiocy seems surprising. Still Americans voted him in (or by staying home let him be voted in) so maybe we are getting our payday.
