McCain is a Republican aberration. A man that's neither here nor there, and one who would do anything to win - much like a Democratic counterpart. Now that he's got the GOP Nomination practically in the bag, expect him to start changing his position along conservative lines. It's what he needs to do to win over the Republican conservative base, and possibly the voters in the general election. I doubt if he can pull it off. Those Republican conservatives he can't win, people like Anne Coulter will make a lot of noise against him. His age will also be a factor against the problems that will be faced by a new President, especially in world affairs and a looming cold war with Russia over Kosovo; and the planned deployment of US Missiles in Eastern Europe. --Durano, done!
