"The U.S. has become precisely the kind of surveillance state that we were always told was the hallmark of tyrannical societies, with literally no limits on the government’s ability or willingness to spy on its own citizens and to maintain vast dossiers on those activities."

Bush: I Gave Up Golf For The Troops

May 25th, 2008 · 5 Comments · Bush is a Traitor, Impeach Bush, Iraq, John McCain, Politics, War

Mr. President, the war isn’t about you - or golf

Another good one from Keith Olbermann

The Scumbags

Perhaps realizing that no one in this country cares or listens to him anymore, our scum bag of a President took a trip to Israel this week looking for someone, anyone to justify his pathetic existence. He did get a pat on the back from his fervent admirer Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and later some good photo ops atop Masada and at the Shrine of the Book. But then PM Olmert is himself under investigation for fraud and has had dismal approval ratings since the 2006… so he and Bush have some things in common. But then, in his usual “Screw America First” attitude, Bush gave a speech before the Israeli Knesset and insinuated that anyone and everyone in America that does not agree with him must be Chamberlain-like Hitler appeasers. This was an unprecedented Political Attack on Americans while standing on Foreign Soil and continues to show how much of a slime ball this idiot has become. It also shows how little he knows about history which isn’t surprising since he can barely read or talk. It also shows how little he’s aware of what is going on in his own administration as Bush’s own Defense Secretary and Secretary of State have recommended talking to Iran.
The other thing that came out this week was in an interview Bush gave. It seems his ultimate sacrifice for the soldiers he has sent to their deaths in Iraq is… He gave up golf in 2003.
This country cannot afford another 4 years of the Bush disaster which is EXACTLY what we would get with John McSame McCain.

Wow. Well first I love the word couchmouse.

Next, wow, I mean, wow. You never see anybody, even on a rarely watched cable channel, let it all hang out like that. That’s public access level passion. Well Bush has said he’s a uniter. And he has done that to the country. Totally against his time in office.

    I. Cannot. Wait. Until. January. 20. 2009.

My eight year old daughter watched this video with me and remarked that it was disrespectful and worried what would happen to KO if someone in the White House caught wind of what he was saying. Sadly, I had to tell her that I doubt anyone in the White House pays attention to anything that smacks of criticism.

Olberman hit it right on the money. It shows how out of touch Dubaya Bush to make a heartless statement about sacrificing golf while our military personel have sacrificed legs, arms, feet, and lives.

Only about 7 more months with this guy at the helm…….
